Creativity
Creativity has been a hallmark of Tom Atkins work and avocation for over 25
years. From the arts to technology to business, he's applied that creative spark
to a wide range of applications. Summit Manor is the professional platform he
uses to do this work.
Creative Writing
Atkins has a masters degree from Hollins' award winning creative writing
program. He's written and published and performed poetry, plays, magazine
articles, non-fiction, short stories and more. You can see samples of his poetry
at the Summit Manor Creative
Blog. In addition, he has written technical articles and white papers for
technology firms.
Photography and Art
Our photography has been used in magazine articles, book covers, advertisements,
web sites, even as a graphic for a rock band! In addition, Atkins is a pen and
ink artist, specializing in castles and other fantasy landscapes. You can see

Marketing
Atkins has deep experience in applying creativity to marketing, first at The
Whitlock Group, then as vice president of marketing and sales at TGS, Inc (which
grew at a remarkable 200% a year for the first five years he was in that position). He
also was a partner in The Kingma Agency for
a time. In our way of thinking, creativity is not just something you apply to
snappy ads, brochures and web sites - it also applies to who and how you reach
out, to every aspect of the process.
Other Creativity
Over the years, Atkins has been involved in projects for interior design,
landscaping, product and services development, corporate re-engineering, and
more. We are currently not taking on any new projects for the foreseeable
future.
