Systems Integration
Tom Atkins is best known for over 25 years of systems integration and broadcast sales. In that time he's designed and built literally thousands of TV studios, edit suites, master controls, automation projects, High technology A/V facilities, and asset management systems. Atkins was one of the "founding four" of The Whitlock Group in 1991, was a partner in TGS, Inc (now owned by Ascent Media), a pioneer in HDTV and Broadcast technologies, for six years. and for a time he operated as an independent consultant and sales engineer under the Summit Manor name. Today he does integration through Diversified Systems.  Clients include Broadcasters, Post Facilities, Universities, Government Agencies and Corporations.

Creativity
Summit Manor is where Tom Atkins works as a free lance creative. Atkins is a poet, writer, photographer, artist, dramatist, and has considerable marketing experience. He's designed TV facilities, interiors and helped manufacturers in product design. For a while he was a partner in The Kingma Agency, a full service ad agency. Ministry
Summit Manor began in 1998 as a ministry, focusing on Spiritual Gifts and Creativity. For years, we taught, preached and did retreats on on these two life and ministry changing topics. Our work has been featured in The Roanoke Times, the Fincastle Herald, and other publications.
